Bilateral Mechanisms: There are a number of bilateral consultation mechanisms between Bangladesh and Nepal that meet regularly to identify new scopes and review the progress in different areas of cooperation. These are:
Foreign Office Consultation (FOC) - 3rd FOC is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on 17 April 2024
Commerce Secretary Level Meeting (CSLM) - 7th CSLM is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on 18-19 April 2024
Joint Economic Commission (JEC)
Joint Steering Committee (JSC) on Power - 5th JSC on Power was held in Kathmandu on 22 August 2022
Joint Group of Customs
Besides these bilateral mechanisms, a number of educational, cultural, business and research organizations are also engaged with their counterparts for institutional cooperation.
