Every year, Bangladesh offers 22 seats to Nepalese students in the government medical and dental colleges under the SAARC quota. Besides these, about 400-500 students also get admitted in private medical colleges and other universities. Currently there are around 3,000 Nepalese students studying in Bangladesh.
