Bangladesh Embassy attests documents, which have prior attestation by the foreign ministries of Bangladesh / Nepal. Documents usually attested are as follows:

Requirements for attestation:

The original copy along with photocopy of the document

Valid Bangladeshi Passport/ NID Card/ Birth Registration Card (for attestation of any Bangladeshi document)/ valid Passport/ID (for attestation of Nepali document)

For attestation, the applicant must come in person with valid passport/NID/ Birth Registration Certificate

Fee: Regular fee is USD 15.00, emergency fee is USD 25.00 per page for the first 5 pages and an additional USD 2.00 per page will be applicable for each subsequent page.

Please Note:

Documents originating in Bangladesh must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.

Documents originating in Nepal, must be attested by the Consular Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal

Upon receipt of the documents, the Embassy will verify the authenticity with the immediate past attesting office. Such verification may take 5-7 working days.
