2^ND BANGABANDHU YOUTH CONFERENCE

CONCEPT NOTE

Nepal-Bangladesh Youth Conclave is a collaborative initiative of prominent individuals and institutions from Nepal and Bangladesh aiming to link the young leaders of two countries. Since the first conference in 2017, five conclaves so far have been organized with participation of  a good number of young leaders from diverse areas of interest. In continuation of the successful holding of conclave, the 6^th edition is being arranged to renew the friendship amongst the youth of the two countries and encourage them to work unitedly for development of their respective communities.

Last year, the 5^th conclave coincided with the 1^st Bangabandhu Youth Conference on Sustainable Development Goals and Climate Change as a part of Bangladesh Embassy’s outreach programme to connect the youth of the two countries and encourage them to keep the crucial developmental issues in mind in all their future undertakings.

This conference of young people aims to to promote Nepal-Bangladesh bilateral relations by providing platform for youth leaders to build connections for mutual cooperation. Such forums should also create an opportunity to share problems and help identifying common solutions.

• showcasing leadership skills;
• awareness on SDGs and climate impact;
• strengthened Nepal-Bangladesh bilateral relation;

PARTICIPANTS

The 6^th Nepal- Bangladesh Youth Conclave and 2^nd Bangabandhu Youth Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Climate Change is expected to be attended by approximately 60 delegates from Bangladesh and Nepal aged between 16-40 from diverse background and profession.
