Power Sector Cooperation
Nepal has huge potential for producing hydro-power. An MoU on Power Sector Cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal was signed on 10 August 2018 enabling the two sides to engage in negotiations on import of electricity and Bangladesh’s investment in the hydropower projects in Nepal. The last meeting was held on 15-16 May 2023.
