Police Clearance Certificate
Bangladeshi citizens living abroad and foreign nationals may require Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from police authority of areas in Bangladesh where they had lived previously. In such cases, the applicant can apply directly or through nominated person to the concerned police station in Bangladesh.
Required Documents for Police Clearance Certificate:
- Application duly filled-in online (https://pcc.police.gov.bd)
- An authorization letter in favour of a representative (In case of submission of application through a representative in Bangladesh)
- Photocopy of applicant’s passport
- A recommendation letter from the relevant institution/ agency in Bangladesh
- In case of foreign nationals, photocopy of passport information page and other pages with visa and entry/ exit seals at Bangladesh airports or landports.
- Payment of an amount of BDT 500 through http://echallan.gov.bd/ using debit/credit card or MFS account.
Or through treasury challan code 1-7301-0001-2681 to any treasury branch of Sonali Bank Ltd. or Bangladesh Bank in Bangladesh.
Please note: Police authorities in Bangladesh may ask for additional documents if necessary.

Delivery:
Online application automatically directs the applicant when and where the PCC will be delivered or handed over. It can be collected by the representative living in Bangladesh.
