Historic 7th March celebrated in Kathmandu
Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu celebrated the historic 7th March with due solemnity. The day began with hoisting flag at the Embassy compound. Special prayers were offered for the salvation of souls of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the other martyrs.
A discussion was held at the Embassy auditorium where video of the historic 7th March speech of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was screened. The messages given by the dignitaries on this occasion were read out. In the discussion, the speakers highlighted the historical background of the 7th March speech. They mentioned that the speech of Bangabandhu encouraged the nation to fight for the great cause of independence struggle.
