Bangladeshi Art Exhibition opens in Kathmandu
3 September 2022, Kathmandu: A 10-day long art exhibition by contemporary Bangladeshi artists was inaugurated at the Siddhartha Art Gallery in Kathmandu on 2 September 2022. Chancellor of Nepal Academy Mr. Ganga Prasad Uprety was the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony which was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, civil society and artist community in Nepal.
Curated by renowned Bangladeshi artist Kanak Chanpa Chakma, the exhibition is featuring artworks of Azmeer Hossain, Biswajit Goswami, Sourav Chowdhury, Mong Mong Sho, Lumbiny Dewan, Jayatu Chakma, Aongthowai Marma, Sudhip Chakma, Nomosta Rema, Munna Bowm and Pingcu Tripura.
The art exhibition titled ‘Spirit of Friendship’ is being organized by the Bangladesh Embassy in collaboration with the Siddhartha Art Gallery as part of celebration of 50 years of Bangladesh-Nepal Diplomatic Relations.
