Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu Celebrates 74th Birth Anniversary of Shahid Captain Sheikh Kamal
07 August 2023, Kathmandu: Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu celebrated the 74th Birth Anniversary of Shahid Captain Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting manner. Officials and members of the staff of the Embassy attended the program. In the discussion session organized on the significance of the day, messages given by the President and the Prime Minister were read out and a documentary on the life and work of Shahid Captain Sheikh Kamal was screened. Ambassador Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury in his remarks recalled with gratitude the great contribution of Shahid Captain Sheikh Kamal in the glorious Liberation war and thereafter in the promotion of sports and culture in the post liberation period.
