Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu celebrates 93rd Birth Anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nessa Mujib
08 August 2023, Kathmandu: Today the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu celebrated the 93rd Birth Anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nessa Mujib, wife of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting manner with the theme ‘Bangamata’s Inspiration Revolution and Liberation’. The program included reading out of the messages given by the President and the Prime Minister and screening of documentary on the life and work of Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nessa Mujib. In the discussion session chaired by Ambassador Salahuddun Noman Chowdhury, the speakers recalled with gratitude the sacrifices of Bangamata and her spirited role in the War of Liberation as the fearless companion of Bangabandhu.
