Great Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day 2024 observed in Kathmandu

21 February 2024, Kathmandu: Great Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day 2024 was observed today in Kathmandu with due solemnity. The day’s programme included hoisting of national flag by the Ambassador, probhat feri followed by laying of floral wreaths and discussion on the significance of the day including reading out messages by dignitaries. Secretary General of SAARC H. E. Mr. Md. Golam Sarwar attended the programme as special guest. It was also attended by President of Nepal-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mr. L. B. Shrestha and President of Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Association Mr. Dindaya Rijal, among others.
